Estimate WhatsApp costs from current rates.
Use the current official market and category rates, delivered-message volumes, and documented provider charges to build a transparent estimate. No price card or free-message assumption is bundled.
When to use it
When a team needs to estimate WhatsApp Business Platform message charges and keep Meta rates separate from provider fees, tax, and other commercial terms.
Prepare these inputs
Recipient market, billing currency, current official rate card, forecast delivered volume by category and tier, verified no-charge quantities, provider terms, tax basis, and source dates.
What the model calculates
For each line, it subtracts only the eligible no-charge quantity you enter, multiplies the remaining delivered volume by the entered unit rate, then adds entered provider fees and a tax calculation based on the user-confirmed taxable base.
What the toolkit includes
A local browser calculator, a source-and-assumptions procedure, and a blank CSV register for market/category/tier rates, volumes, fees, and review ownership.
Review boundaries
Meta rates, category rules, and volume tiers can change. The calculator has no embedded rate, tier, free-message, tax, or provider assumptions. It is a planning estimate, not an invoice, quote, financial advice, or tax determination.
A repeatable estimate
- 01
Choose one recipient market, billing currency, and estimate period.
- 02
Check Meta’s official pricing page and linked rate card; record the applicable category, rate, tier basis, source URL, and date.
- 03
Enter delivered volumes, splitting separate categories or tiers into separate lines.
- 04
Enter a no-charge quantity only when the current rule and actual events confirm eligibility; otherwise enter zero.
- 05
Enter provider charges and the verified taxable base separately. Keep FX assumptions and exclusions visible.
- 06
Have the estimate reviewed by the account/provider owner and reconcile it with an actual invoice after the period closes.
Check current pricing
Meta describes per-delivered-message pricing that varies by recipient market and category, and publishes volume tiers for utility and authentication messages. Review the live rules and linked rate card before each estimate.
