A campaign preflight should identify who can stop launch and what evidence clears each risk. A checklist with no owner becomes a set of boxes everyone assumes someone else checked.
Review six launch surfaces
Offer: Is the price, availability, eligibility, and exclusion accurate in every language?
Destination: Does each ad open the intended country, product, and language page on mobile?
Claims: Can the team support every performance, comparison, testimonial, and urgency statement? Are permissions recorded?
Operations: Is inventory or service capacity ready? Is a person assigned to inquiries, including outside standard hours if promised?
Measurement: Are click, message, qualified request, order, delivery, and refund events defined and tested separately?
Market and platform: Has an owner checked current rules and requirements from primary sources? Record date and market; do not rely on a copied checklist where regulations may differ.
Assign launch states
For each risk, mark clear, blocked, or accepted with a named owner and mitigation. Legal, safety, privacy, and unverified-claim blockers do not become acceptable because a deadline is close. Test one real click path per language and device class. Save the final creative, destination, tracking version, approver, and launch time together.
Use a post-launch check
Within the first operating window, confirm the ad is active, destination loads, forms or chats arrive, and the assigned team can respond. Pause only the affected path if one control fails; preserve evidence before changing settings. A green platform status does not prove the full customer journey works.
Optional AI-assisted work brief — Pre-launch risk register
List risks across claim accuracy, audience eligibility, privacy, destination behavior, tracking, inventory or capacity, localization, and response ownership. Score likelihood and impact with plain evidence, assign an owner, mitigation, and launch blocker threshold. Include a rollback signal. Avoid generic “monitor closely” actions; define what will be checked, by whom, and when.
Worked scenario — A launch stop condition with an owner
If a campaign promises a same-day response, require an operations owner, staffed hours, and a tested routing path. If any is missing, remove or qualify the promise before launch. The stop condition must name the check and decision-maker. “Monitor response times” after launch does not fix an unsupported promise or an unattended inbox.
